"See you later," he says to Gansey casually, bumping fists with him before turning back around. "Tell Blue I said hi." With that said, he motions once more to Ronan and starts heading toward his car, enjoying the play of the water against his skin. Almost automatically at this point, he turns on his car remotely and heads in the direction of the lot, opening the car for both of them. As he jumps in, he strips out of his soaked sweater and lets the heat warm his body. Before Ronan can intervene, he turns on the radio to a station Adam likes and takes off.
Once on the road, he becomes a little unsure, watching how quickly the rain drowns out his windshield. He speaks to Ronan without looking at him, much too concerned with road conditions at the moment. "Is there anywhere you feel like going? I don't have work until tonight."
