Gansey feels groggy when he wakes, everything around him seeming stranger than he remembers it. His eyes stay closed for a long moment, his limbs feeling heavy, his brain trying to get everything to move. When he does open them, he has no idea where he is and he wonders just what in the hell happened to him. Maybe somehow he sustained a blow to his head. He's trying to remember.
Then he sees Ronan and he immediately recognizes everything else. They're at the Barns. "Ronan?" He says, his voice weak and scratchy. "What... are we doing here? What happened?"
