"You saw him, right? He was awake, okay. I trust you. I trust that he's okay, because you saw him." And that's all he knows how to deal with right now. Seeing Gansey, it's a want, but it's not something he thinks he can face anyway. He doesnt' know what to feel, or what to think, until Ronan looks him in the eye and tells him that he's proud of him. That helps patch up the small holes that are threatening to tear through him. He nods, tugging Ronan closer. "I needed to hear that. Thanks. You did good too, Ronan. We pulled it off. We really did it. God damn it, we should be damn proud of ourselves."
